Excellent question.... and the use of the word perception rather than "faith" is right on the mark, since real faith has very much to do with what we know rather that what we believe.

God is the unbounded and eternal light of life and there is no waiting to be with God since God has always there and will always be there for those who can perceive God.

And this is why the Original Kingdom Gospel is about the "light of life" and a "treasure hid in a field" rather than the story we hear today about "waiting" for something to happen.

Jesus did not preach that people should "wait," but rather to "Seek ye first" that which is already there.

So thanks for the excellent question.

What I want to do is tell about Him, in almost braggadocios ways. He is love, compassion, comfort, peace, friendly, giving, funny, and providing. Yes, I am telling you about my personal experience. The things that God has done with me lets me know that Heaven wont be boring to say the least!

One of the qualities of God that I really enjoy is the way He is esoteric. He only means for certain people to know whatever He is talking about. He is a genius. He knows that without His Spirit, even people who are far more intelligent than I am will not know what He is really saying.

So the specialness of what I am to God therefore makes me feel included, a part of, and wonderously so.

It is a rare thing in the world to really be loved by God. He knows me better than I do, and yet He still wants me. And He has me willing to follow Him through any hardship. Do you know what that is like, to be willing to follow someone to any danger, and have that someone be the one who created everything?

That's my perception and my gratitude towards God. I hope that my words brought honor to Him.

Cool question.
I know that GOD is with me inside and out speaking and guiding me in many ways. The closest way I can describe our relationship is how it reminds me of when I was very young and felt very protected by Mom and Dad. I feel complete and whole like I am the center of the universe when I draw close to him. Even though I know I am only a speck I feel like a very important speck. Truly GOD is my father.
That is my real experience outside of my religion.

The biped life forms on a planet orbiting an unremarkable G2 yellow star in the backwaters of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy have come up with a name for what is and that name is God. We're just star stuff. Call it what you like.

When relatives and friends allcould not come to my help. God helped me to 'skate through the icy floor!
At different stages of my growth, He onlyguided me and saved me.
Whenever a knotty problem confronts me, I take up HIs book. Lo! the apt solution stares at me!

Irrespective of religious beliefs and teachings, I personally have known God to be a force unseen, but felt the presence and care. Its hard to explain how but this much I know that God to me is someone who is constantly watching over me, guiding me through my intuit and I feel his presence always around me as a protective aura.
My perception of God is that God definately is and in eh grand scheme of things God has everyone's role chalked out. Its us who wanting to do what our mind tells us or wants us to do interfere with that plan thus causing ourselves troubles and pain. I see God as a teaher who I guess has to be extra patient with me as I am a bit unruly at times. Still God is there for me and I feel an immense love for God and also feel that God loves me too as even after so many mischiefs and errors God still cares for me and this is shown in my getting the best for me in the end always.

I love God and God loves me too!

Helpful .. He's truly been there for me at all times and helped me get through some TOUGH things in my life. But Im still alive aren't I? He's saved me from Hell... which He did NOT have to do. He is SO loving and understands what I'm going through at ALL times. He really leaves me nothing to worry about, because all I do is trust him, and He will ALWAYS pull through for me. He has blessed me ever so much. My bestest friend ever. I could not ever let him go . EVER. He means way too much to me. How great it is to have such a special relationship with the Father. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Be blessed my friend.
He loves you SO much. ur special

I don't KNOW anything. All I believe is that God exists, and that He is loving. In what incarnation, whether He is exactly as any of the religions of the world dictate, will be an interesting thing to find out. :)

The understanding of god that i have is, God "himself" is not a Deity, but an entity, and i see it sort of like the conscious Eminence of all life. i believe that god sparked life in the first organisms, and then nature evolved from there. i really dislike the concept many people have, that god is a fifty foot tall bearded guy watching what everyone does for all eternity of 5 trillion closed circuit TVs. quite simply, it is impossible to comprehend what god is, what he/she/it is capable of, it really is impossible to try to say you understand god, as Dante put it "it is not a flight for my wings"
this is just my own speculation
