i can't eat =[

Okay,
well I have always been a "good eater". meaning I could tell when I was hungry and I could tell when I needed to eat.
For the past 3-4 days, I've been in total hell.
I haven't been hungry at all. And the few times I have, I've only eaten a few bites out of the meal.. then I was full.

I know this isn't healthy, but I really can't eat if I feel full or not hungry. =[

So I haven't eaten a full meal of anything in...

2 days.

And when last time I ate it was some pasta and noodles, and I couldn't finish the whole (very small) plate.


Can anybody help? What's wrong with me? =[=[

To begin with, this may not be as serious as you think. It may be the beginnings of the flu or other viral infection. If it persists, please see a physician. To explain more about hunger and what controls appetite, you must look at the brain. The hunger and feeding portion in the brain is the hypothalamus. 1. Diet supplements. YOu can buy them, including hospital strength ones, from the chemist. You should be able to get the basic ones from the supermarket. They can give you the complete range of protiens, vitamins etc that you body needs.
2. Drink soups and plenty of fruit juice and milk (they are easier to take and give you some nutrients).
3. Eat some food. I always eat a little, even when I am very sick. it helps the body recover.

My one friend didn't eat or sleep for 6 days because of stress, then collapsed in the shower one day. If you eat a little each day you will be ok, and if the problem continues go to a doctor.
