Toe cramps. I find that I get them when it's really cold or when I stretch my toes too much or bend them weird. It could also be bad shoes or too much walking.

I find the best way to alleviate them is to massage your toes or put them against something cold, like a cold floor (but if it's caused from being really cold warmth might help too).

If it happens a lot or last a really long time you should see a doctor because there might be an underlying condition or deficiency.

This may be a condition called carpopedal spasm. It is usually caused by a Magnesium deficiency. Try a quality supplement such as Magnesium Citrate or Magnesium Glycinate.

Note: if you are deficient in one essential nutrient, such as Magnesium, you are likely deficient in others too. A quality multi-vitamin/mineral supplement would be appropriate in addition to the Magnesium supplement. Be sure to avoid the 'junk food' supplements such as Centrum and One-A-Day. See your alternative health care provider, nutritionist, or local health food store for a good supplement.

Best wishes and good luck.
