If the abrahamic definition of heaven and hell exists please tell me how it is going to be so wonderful in heaven knowing that people are "burning in hell". Wouldn't the knowledge of that affect the joy you would experience in heaven?

It deeply affects me knowing that people starve to death amongst other horrible things people suffer around the globe.

I can't wrap my head around this one but I am willing to listen to your thoughts and learn.

Peace and thank you.

[quote]
How many times have you said.. "I want to be in Hell with my friends."
[end quote]

I have never ~ not once ~ said that. It is an unfair accusation.

I will not engage in personal insults. I am trying to learn something here.

Ending all suffering would be my idea of heaven, anywhere, anyplace, anytime.

Heaven will surely will be joyous. Once in Heaven, there will be no knowing what is happening outside of Heaven. God would not subject man to what is going on in hell once one makes it to heaven. There is alot of people starving around the world and one of the greatest reasons is because of sin.
11 Chronicles speaks what would happen if man turns back to God. But man refuses to listen.
Everything that goes on in the world affects everyone one way or the other. This is why it is so important to maintain our Salvation everyday. We need God now more than ever. An important factor to remember is Prayer. What do you think would happen if we all (Born Again Believers) prayed at the same time on the same day? So much would change.

I also find it upsetting and heart wrenching to think of all of the innocent people [especially children] who are starving & suffering in this world ...
However, I do believe that those people who cause such great suffering should be punished. If someone abuses a small child, I do want that person to suffer and be punished for their actions.

I don't think that people should be allowed to hurt others, or to cause pain and suffering, and then to get away with it, without any repercussions....

I personally would not feel "joyous" at their suffering, but I would feel like justice was being served.

This is a really good, thoughtful, albeit difficult question ...
That is why I love you so much, Peace Yo ....

Good Question, Peace YO:

And many people have become atheists because of that Pagan doctrine. It originated in Greek Mythology and was introduced into Judaism during the reign of the Machibees. Christ capitalized on their misunderstanding when He spoke of Lazarus and the rich man. That parable was to emphasize that some would believe in Him even if someone returned from the grave and warned them. Jesus did resurrect Lazarus, and they still killed him.

This means that no terrifying doctrine will cause a heart conversion, and such lies are detrimental.

There is a Bible code that tells you when the wicked will be destroyed. Read chapter one of "The Wise Shall Understand" at http://abiblecode.tripod.com

In this lies dogma and not dhamma (of the Bible). Even from the very beginning, we can see this is not Truth. If as they say God breathed life into man. This would be pure breath void of all manipulation. If then the vehicle is destroyed, the pure breath must return to the pureness that it came from. How could a pureness send away for eternity that which is of itself. It is my prayer for all to be released from the suffering of the dogma they made into god. They have the pureness of Breath still within under many veils. As the veils of dogma are shed then the Truth will be free work. This will turn the vehicle into it's true form a vehicle of love and peace.

This is why the Bible says that God "will wipe away every tear from their eyes." There will be a lot to be sad about in heaven, but much joy as well. God will take away our sadness. Don't know how that will work. Don't care at this point. Sounds like a good plan.

God promised in every Divine Revelation that those who will obey God and will be righteous all their life will have a joyous life in Heaven.

God also said in revelations that those who will murder, rape, make people suffer starvation, cause deaths and misery for the surviving members of family, will be punished in hell fire. They will be made to suffer for what they did to others.

Why shouldn't people in Heaven not enjoy. They have earned by worshipping God days and nights, and doing personal sacrifices in the way of God by giving to poors, orphans, sick, and old to please God.

People in hell deserve the punishment for committing crimes against humanity. Why people of Heaven should be concerned about them. Many people in Heaven will be happy to see the final judgement of God against the killers of their family membes. Many rich killers hire the best lawyers, and gets freed by courts of this world with out any punishment because corrupt judges also sell judgments to those who pay them most. Well in God's court they can not escape the God's Judgement and real punishment because Angels of God are taking movies of every action good or bad of every individual in this life and will present to God to prove what crimes they committed. They will not be able to avoid the harsh punishment from God. How can God be
Just if they are not punished for their crimes and the sufferings they caused who were not powerful in this life.

i think in Heaven we would have no memory of Bad times and things , the effects of being in God's presence would eliminate any kind of sadness. The bible mentions in Revelations21:4
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
cheers

Powerful question. It's one of the reasons I have been studying and cant any longer say I identify with the Christian
religion. I believe that God is pure Love and to say that he would sentence any one of us to "hell" is just to contrary to believe.
I guess I'm saying I dont believe in "hell" or "satan".
I am beginning to believe that the anti-christ is our ego's.
Our attachments to things and desires that have nothing to do with just purely loving one another.
This division of sorts has caused all sorts of problems to humanity. Division, division, division!
We all are one and an extension of God himself/herself (whichever you prefer).
That sorta of thinking that of "i dont care if somebody, goes to hell or not" is what keeps our egos so strong.
I could go on forever on this topic, dont worry I wont put you through that. In short, I dont believe that hell exists but in our minds.
In Spirit

thinks it hurts god to see every single individual soul going to hell.. it does. So comes to story of salvation here.. GOD is not just god as Man will perceive only to the functioning of rewarding, punishment, condemning souls to hell but definitely more than tat, the love, tolerance etc is there too... I'm just a plain human trying to know god, too...

only weak minded humans actually believe this. earth is hell for believers and heaven does not exist so they will all end up angry. until you have done everything in your power to heal these atrocities that you witness, you are no better than they are.
