Technically,the black bread mould/mold is the fruiting structure of the fungi within the bread.

Similar to the common mushroom you buy at the green grocer.

yup. it is likely a Deuteromycete called Aspergillus or it can be a Zygomycete called Rhizopus. It is most likely Rhizopus because, as far as I learned it, Rhizopus is called the Black Bread Mold
