During the period of the Vietnam War, the Israelis were also busy fighting in their own war (Arab-Israeli War) , especially during the Six Day War (1967) and the Yom Kuppur War (1973).

I doubt it. Israel was not very popular with the SAS of many Commonwealth nations, stemming from incidents with the Haganah during the British mandate in Palestine.
