Honestly, from experience, guys really HATE all of those cutesy names we try to give him. So anything that relates to food is out (cookie, sugar, cupcake, honey etc)
when you call someone baby, or sexy, it can be okay.......but most of the time a guy would much rather be called handsome.
Also, guys like it when you use their full names. My old bf's name was Will but when I called him William, he really liked it. <---that wasn't an everyday thing, just sometimes

I call him baby bear, honey bear,hubby bear, jelly bean..etc.
His name is Jamie so I call him Jamie bear too.
I just think something to do with Bear is really adorable. LOL
