I'm currently considering joining the Air Force to become an MP, as I want to make a career out of law enforcement.

Can anyone tell me what it's like as an MP for the Air Force? What do you do from day to day? What's the pay like? And so on.

First off, it's called Security Forces, SF, not MP. They work security on base, from gate guard to law enforcement. Security in the missile fields, flightlines, you name it. You should really go talk to a recruiter, or if you want I can answer any questions. Worked SF for 13 years.

The pay is just like any other job in the AF, or military for that matter. It depends on your rank, E1, E2, E3, etc. The job is extremely broad, but if you want to know, e-mail me or talk to a recruiter.

Securing military bases is the main job of an MP in the Air Force.

As Mac said, it's called Security Forces, not MP.
Pay is whatever your grade is.

And your day to day duties all depend on your base/specific duty.
