well people at my church have asked me to present a science experiment thingy and correlate it somehow to the bible

for example, a couple of years ago some other guy at church did this thing where he had 3 eggs and 3 cups. He put a different substance in each cup which made each egg float differently. One egg was on the bottom, middle, and top.

As for the bible part, he explained that God wants us to be either warm or cold but not lukewarm.

and ive been thinking about this foreverrrrr and have come up with absolutely nothing )=

sooo it would be pretty awesome if one of yall could help me think of something

thanks again=)

It is optical illusion, they are fooling you.

How did he get from bouyant eggs to being warm or lukewarm? Where is that in the Bible?

That is very, very strange.

If you want to do something that links science to the Bible bring in an onion, some salt, some dish detergent, some meat tenderizer, water, some ice cold rubbing alcohol and a blender.

Blend the onion in some water until it is liquified. Blend in a teaspoon of meat tenderizer and a small squirt of detergent and a teaspoon of salt and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then pour the ice cold rubbing alcohol over it and you will see a cloudy layer from between the alcohol and the watery onion mixture below. Take a toothpick and stick it into the cloudy stuff and stir. Some white stringy stuff will stick to the toothpick. You can pull it out and it will be like a slimey wad of cotton. This is DNA.

You can then tell people that the genetic code in the onion DNA is exactly the same as the DNA in your own cells because you and the onion both decended from the same early eukaryotic organisms. The Bible is all wrong.

I'm sure that will be a big hit.

Here's a thought: look up Child Evangelism Fellowship (I believe they still have a website) and they may have some of these experiments for you. Science and I--we didn't get along too well, so I won't be of much help to you there. Sorry!

If there is a Christian school near you, ask them if they have the Moody Science videos. I saw one of these featuring the kingdom of the bees or something like that, where it showed the hexagon shape of the honeycomb was perfect, as designed by the Creator, etc. Some of these may give you some ideas.

Maybe there's a science teacher at one of the public schools who's a believer? If nothing else, one of these folks could give you more expertise than anybody else! I wish you all kinds of success, and a Merry Christmas to you and all of yours.

well u could take to liquids that do not mix and have it to where god is the lighter one and say sin is being without god so no matter how much people think god caused a sin or is the cause of sin say that if u shake and shake it up god and sin can never mix because sin is being without god so how can god be without god?
