I think its incredible that we have the technology to be able to perform these surgeries that are changing peoples lives and giving them the opportunity to live it to the fullest as who they truly are. Imagine being stuck in a body you didnt feel was yours...or like you didnt belong in....it just didnt fit right but its the way it was and there was nothing you could do about it. How horribly suffocating not to mention the pressure gender roles in society play in every day life. how is wrong to be who you are inside and out? people dont go through these procedures because they got bored and need a change...or because they have a choice...they do it because they DONT have a choice....and thats a terrible thing to judge.

If you do it for the right reason I have no problem...you know that people who are trans-gender often have a valid reason, I remember hearing on the Oprah show, a girl she always felt she was a guy with the wrong body parts, she never liked Barbies or dresses, but playing in the mud or whatever, she always thought she was going to grow into being a lesbian, but she finally came clean to herself, she isn't lesbian or whatever, but shes really a guy, on the inside. she get her breasts remove. I'm proud of this person.
I honestly think she did a good thing, (s)hes now conferable in his/her own skin, and isn't afraid to say this is who I am. That shows confidence.
Not to mention, if she/he wasn't on the Oprah show, I'd think she/he was a guy. o.o the voice, the looks, everything.

I feel that sex changes are a positive thing. If a person identifies as the opposite sex and having a sex change can improve their lives in various ways and make them feel whole then who are we to judge. As for the "morally wrong" "its a sin" argument not everybody believes in the same god or holds the same set of values and morals so I feel its b.s to try to argue against them on those grounds.

I think we should all be happy with what god gave us to work with but there not my parts so I don't have any reason to care what other people do with their bodies. I have never been transgendered so I have no idea how bad it is can however if i one day woke up as a man I would probably kill myself.

it is a very difficult process, not taken lightly by those who pursue it. most feel they have no other choice but this or suicide. try to get to know some people who have changed. it is very hard to do and it is a challenge.

i think if it will make the person feel complete, and make them truly happy, then they should be able to do wutever they want to themselves and be acpeted in society regardless.itz really no ones business or place to judge.
