don't give the church ideas... I'm sure they'd love to pull off a scam like that one...

what do you think happens after the tribulation? (not talking rapture here). those that survive are given a new earth and a new heaven and live for 1000 yrs. we will be like Enoch.
Personally I think Enoch is under rated by far. Only man to be taken in the flesh and few will even read his book. Sad. I think his book is one of the most interesting of them all.

It is appointed onto man once to die. Enoch walked with God and his translation was a Old Testament foreshadow of the ressurection that is through Christ Jesus.

Where did he take Enoch to? Jesus said no man has ascended ut he that descended so Enoch obviously didnt go to heaven. He took him as in put him to sleep, the big sleep death.

Life and death is created by God so He can test our souls.
Our body in this life is not made eternal. Its vital organs of human body get old by age and loose their ability to continue supporting life of the body. God has planned life of each individul from birth till death. The time and date of each birth and death is already written. All born on earth has to die on earth. There is no escape from death. None of the Prophets of God who were closest to God also died on earth. We all will die same way.
It is God's decision of taking some humans to Heaven alive. Why did God take some of them alive? God has told to Prophet Jesus and Mohmmad about the return of Jesus Christ. But we don't know any prophesy concerning to other Prophets as to when they will be returned to earth.to live rest of their life.
We know the body all humans will get after resurrection, will be indestructible to last for ever without being old and causing death.

he will become a liar if he do so!, remember He told adam and eve that when they will eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and bad, they will absolutely die, of course since we are all came from adam and eve we death also comes to us. but aren't you contented of what God promises to those who will follow Him? don't be afraid death is just nothing, non existing.it might be as fast as a blink of an eye...

Because not everyone walks with God as closely that God just took him...That was a special circumstance. Abraham died. Moses died. Elijah was taken to heaven in a chariot of fire. John the Baptist was beheaded.
God has His reasons. It's not for us to know. Moses' body was never found... God buried him.

im sorry but i dont know the story of Enoch.
but, followers of God do not experience DEATH...
they receive eternal life, while those who didnt accept Christ die and go to hell.
followers die, but LIVE in Heaven =]

Death is the result of sin. All who have sinned must face death.

Any answer I could make would be only my speculation, not to be a smarty-pants, but you'd really have to ask God.
(But if that were how it worked, think how easy it would be to just disappear or "disappear" someone else. You could just say, 'Oh, God took them" and nobody would think to look. Just a warped what-if.)
