What are some other names for conscience sedation?

I've heard them called amnesiacs also, are they refered to by any other terms?

Sometimes depending on the procedure being done it may be called twilight sleep where you won't remember the procedure but may be awake enough to hear something like a pencil drop. (found this out from an anesthetist)
