heres one a friend sent me .. maybe it will work for you ..
I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU ? WHY WOULD GOD CREATOR OF ALL THINGS LEAVE THE SPLINDERS OF HEAVEN, COME TO EARTH ENDURE PAIN AND SUFFERING DIE ON A CROSS? THIS HAD TO BE THE GREATEST ACT OF LOVE. WHAT FOR? SURELY HE DIDN'T HAVE TO... WHAT WAS CALVARY ALL ABOUT? DID IT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH US? REMEMBER WE ARE JUST DIRT WE WERE CREATED FOR THE DUST OF THE EARTH, WE ARE OF NO VALUE AND COULD OF EASILY HAVE BEEN REPLACED, WITH NO RECOLLECTION OF THE PAST AT ALL? WHAT DID GOD HAVE TO PROVE?
JOHN 3;18-23 IS ANOTHER REFERENCE TO THE THE QUESTION " WHY MAN REFUSES THE TRUTH OF GODS WORD?
THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE THAN FOR A MAN TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR A FRIEND? I CAN ONLY QUOTE IT I'M NOT SURE OF WHERE THIS SCRIPTURE IS IN THE BIBLE.
JOHN3;8 SAY JUST AS YOU CAN HEAR THE WIND BUT CAN'T TELL WHERE IT COMES FROM OR WHERE IT IS GOING,SO YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW PEOPLE ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT.
MY OPINION OF COURSE IS SALAVTION CAN NOT REALLY BE EXPLAINED ONLY EXPERIENCED,THERES NOWAY TO DISCRIBE HOW ONE IS BORN AGIAN, THE BIBLE SAY WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST JESUS OLD THINGS ARE PAST WAY ALL THINGS ARE MADE NEW, BUT I HAVN'T YET TO FIND AWAY TO EXPLAIN SALVATION TO ANYONE!CAN YOU EXPLAIN YOUR CONVERTION? KINDDDDDDDDDDDDOF CURIOUS!

How about on salvation? God sent His only Son to die on the cross for all of our sins. I wish I would have been taught from a very young age that God loves us. He's not standing in heaven waiting to knock us over for every mistake we make. He just wants to know that even with all that is going on around us, He is still number 1 with us. He wants us love Him. He made the choice to love us unconditionally before we were born and could sin. Yes we were born sinners which is why we need to depend on God and be grateful for all Jesus did for us. He took our sickness, disease and sin and bore it all on the cross for every person born, no matter what country or nationality, religion or color.
Then do the ABC's
Admit you are sinner
Ask God to forgive your sins.
Believe in Jesus Christ
Become like a child by receiving Christ
Confess that Jesus is your Lord.

You could talk about the characteristics of Love.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." 1 Corinthians 13: 4 - 8 NIV
And connect it with this quote:
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for[c] our sins." 1 John 4: 7-10 NIV
When you put these two together, you realize that God is Love, while Love is patient, doesn't envy, isn't proud... In other words these characteristics describe God because Love is God and God is Love.
(Also we should follow the characteristics of Love to have the perfect Love that God has for us.)

first of all , I think this is a great idea= to get children involved in the church service- I love to see churches that work together no matter what the age- Since it is advent, why don't you talk about how to prepare to meet Jesus. Maybe you could share how you came to know Jesus- a testimony would be great. God bless, and I will pray- God will lead you

THANK YOU for volunteering to do this! As a preacher myself, I am so glad to see our young people willing to help.
Now on to your question. Let me share a few things with you. First, would your pastor or youth leader be willing to share some thoughts with you? He or she ought to be able to provide some assistance. That's one reason we're here!
Next, it's the Christmas or Advent season. You could look at a few websites to see what certain churches or denominations are using as their Gospel/Epistle lessons (our Lutheran, Catholic, Presbyterian, and other friends) at http://www.lectionary.com ,or google for "lectionary" and you'll get a list of Scripture readings.
Third, does your church light the Advent candles? Again, there's a web site that describes the colors and the meanings but I DON'T HAVE IT WITH ME (grrrrrrrrrrrrrr)! So google for advent candles and see what you find. Of course, if your church doesn't use these, skip this paragraph.
It will only be 10 days before Christmas this Sunday (and I haven't done one bit of shopping . . .) so that could be a lead for you, describing the trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Don't forget, Mary was just a teenage girl when God chose her to the mother of Jesus. Maybe a monologue of sorts as to what she might have been thinking, or incorporate sketches of her life from the Gospels as part of your message? You could add sketches of taking care of your brother or sister, or if you have done any baby-sitting, for a personal touch.
Don't forget, there's a website for sermons, http://www.sermoncentral.com and you can find literally hundreds of messages about Mary, Joseph, Jesus, Advent, and so on. There is a lot of stuff, so why not bookmark it and come back to it whenever you can.
Finally, here's part of one of my sermon outlines. Feel free to use as much or as little as you like. Here goes:
Title: This could be your best Christmas ever!
Text: Matthew 1:18-25
Intro: We are in the middle of December, and the middle of the Christmas season. In just a few days, we'll be celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We've all had several Christamases in the past, and this one could be the best ever for you.
I. A look at the First Christmas:
A. The preparation: Roman law and order provided peace and security; Greek thought and language--spoken everywhere in the known world--had expanded the mental powers of the citizens; the Jewish faith with synagogues, high ethics, and hopes of a Messiah had given people a sense of expectation (from Earle Cairns, Christianity Through The Centuries, 1979 edition, paraphrased).
B. The prophecies: many of these had been given through the years, ever since the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15) and thereafter (Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2, Daniel 9, and more). The one given to us by Daniel told exactly when Messiah would come, 483 years after a certain decree. (Confirmed by Sir Robert Anderson, "The Coming Prince" but I've forgotten the publisher, etc.)
C. The people: God used many people through the years to bring this event, the birth of Jesus, to reality. Besides the prophets, we can't forget Joseph and Mary. These were the only people in all of history that God allowed to raise His Son while He lived on the earth!
D. The purpose: The angel said it so well: "You shall call his name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sin (Matthew 1:21)" Jesus performed miracles of healing, feeding, and others but His main purpose was to bring salvation for us all.
Conclusion (a brief wrap-up of the points) The world was ready for the coming of the Messiah. Prophecies were going to be fulfilled. People were found to complete God's plan, and they were willing to do it. All of this was needed to complete the purpose, why Jesus left Heaven to come to this earth.
---The End--- but be sure you close your message with more than "that's the end". The pastor should be able to help you with a "how to close" part of your message.
GOD BLESS YOU as you prepare for this Sunday! Please let us know how it goes!

Christmas is a time for preparation, conversion, joy, and salvation.
We prepare ourselves for the Coming of the Messiah.
We convert our thoughts actions and prayers to the ways of the Messiah.
We celebrate the Joy of our Redemption through our Messiah.
We anticipate our Salvation in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ forever.
Mini-message. Prepare the way of the Lord. Repent and Convert our lives to the Lord. Celebrate the Joy of Christ Jesus in our Salvation.
Praise be Jesus Christ now and forever.

Numbers 31:17-18 "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

That's great!
Well, you could try the subject of prayer.
Or... Romans Chapter 15?
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=52&chapter=15&version=49
I find the biblegateway.com quite informative.
You might find it easy to use.
All versions of the Bible can be found there.
It might help you get an idea.
Good luck, and may God bless you!

You can compare the 'first family', Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel, to modern families. No family is perfect. Cain killed Abel out of jealousy. The rejection by both God and his parents was real.

Go to the library and check out some books on Object lessons and use one of them. You should ask your Pastor for help and not unbelievers.

I guess you better start hitting the books instead of looking for the easy way out...asking other people for a sermon.
Be for real!
