you can get this nail polish that tastes bad that is a clear polish and it tastes bad even when dry so when you go to bite nails it will taste bad. you can get it at walmart!!

Two words. The look. I've known people who have bitten their fingernails, and over time, the more you bite them, the lower the rim of your nail goes down. It's not very pretty.

I had that bad habits for years when i was in school. During school holidays i would apply nail polish on them and they look so beautiful that it stopped me from biting them. Now the habit is completely gone.
As for guys, what can i say? Seriously i cant think of any solution. Cut them regularly.

Well what worked pretty good for me was going weekly or so and getting a manicure and you dont want to ruin the manicure so you stop bitting your nails and if that dosent work your nail bill gets pretty high.....
For guys im not sure what to do my father does heating and air conditioning and he used to bit his nails but doesent anymore due to the fact that his nails get all dirty.....

put on clear nail polish. I've never had a nail biting problem, but I hear it helps.

My friend stopped by putting nail polish on, but if you're a guy just put nailpolish remover on (my other friend did that) and it will taste so gross you won't want to.

okay here is what totally worked for me and it happen by accident. i use purell hand sanitizer all the time and it really lasts on your hands, so when i would bite my nails i would taste it and the taste is simply gross. it really stopped me! :]

oh k so my brother does that and my dad said he'd put this i gess like lotion stuff that tastes really bad so every time he bit his finger nails he would taste the really bad taste!!! he didnt need to use the stuff tho, my brother stoped on his own...
