Wanted to know if i could get internet on my ps3 using the a phone line connection to the phone line jack in the wall instead of an ethernet cable. And I dont have wireless internet either.

No, dial-up connection won't work, you need a brodband one. Also that cable isn't right, since PS3 uses Ethernet RJ-45 cable. Dial-up connection is too slow, that speed won't allow you to play online and downloading even a tiny demo will take days.

Technically, No But Yes: If the phone line is connected to a modem And the modem has to have an ethernet cable The ethernet cable connects the PS3s backside. And there you go, you should now have internet Basically: -No you can't connect a phone line directly into the PS3 -You have to have a modem connected by a ethernet cable(If you don't have a modem, ask your Internet Provider to get one example:AT&T) It goes like this: PhoneLine>Modem by EthernetCable>Ethernet>PS3

NO, you have to use the Ethernet cable with the PS3. The PS3 doesn't have a connection for a phone line.

If you have a wireless network in your home and you have the 40GB, 60GB, or 80GB PS3's, the PS3 can connect to the internet wirelessly.

nope sorry.... but just try the wireless cuz since the ps3 has built in wi-fi you can probably mooch off the signal coming from your neighbors.... try it!:D

no you need dsl or higher, you need an ethernet cable wich comes with dsl

No you would have a poor online experience,I have mine hooked to my comcast high speed setup.
