San Francisco. I've never been further west than Ohio, so seeing that city, even for only 8 hours was fantastic! I walked everywhere (alone) around Nobb Hill, Union Square, the Warf, Telegraph Hill, Lombard Street then rode the trolly down (for free) to the Metro to catch my plane. Unfortunately, I didn't find any great restaurants, but I did stop at a great Irish pub on Post Street for a thick beer before heading back and chatted with a pilot while he ate his dinner (he wasn't flying that night). It was fantastic, esp. for leaving cold NY in February and arriving in Sunny CA!

Branson, Missouri

Fun for the whole family. We rented a cabin for 14 people in our family on a lake. Did boating, fishing. Had a swimming pool, game room, are own grill, huge tv. In town, lots of diff. restraurants, shows(Yakovich was the greatest), rides, shopping. Just a fun place.

I won a trip to Hawaii and I really enjoyed that (not just because it was free!) The only down side was I took my mom with me and it was the equivalent of taking a bologna sandwich to a banquet. What a downer she was. She didn't enjoy one moment of the trip and tried to make sure I didn't either. I'd love to go back with someone who would truly enjoy the experience.
