They are both extremely overpriced.

You can buy an HDMI cable for about $20.00

You don't need the cable to say "for PS3". All HDMI cables will work just fine.

The only difference is the cost. Since hdmi uses digital packets, the information goes through in the same manner regardless of the type or brand of cable. I bought an hdmi cable at Sam's Club for around $20. The sales people will tell you that you will get a better picture with the more expensive cables, but that is simply not true.

One costs $100 dollars the other almost $40 dollars less. You are paying for nothing but name here, There is no reason at all the Monster should be that much more than the other, but the marketing that goes into the brand is what makes the higher price.


If you are willing to shop onilne you can get an even better price for an HDMI cable

regardless which one you want, don't buy at a retail store. MUCH less costly on eBay for the same quality.
