No degree needed for a bank teller. They always want applicants to have cash-handling experience. If you've ever worked as a cashier definitely use that as experience. If you have zero cash experience, then it helps to know someone working at the bank.

you have to be bondable -- usually over 18 with no criminal record. you may have to have reasonable credit score [history of credit problems = temptation to fiddle the bank's cash -- at least in their mind].

other than that, high school diploma and decent math skills are enough.
