It depends.

If you believe that the purpose of the human race is to not believe in a religion, then yes, it would be a failure.

If you believe that the purpose of the human race is not related or dependent upon belief in a religion, then the jury is still out.

No. The human race is a failure because a LOT of the people in this messed up world are greedy, selfish, unkind, power-hungry idiots who will do whatever they need to do to get what they want and have no consideration at all for how it will affect others.

If it's a failure it's because Man made it a failure in his poor choices.

But failure is not always bad because Man can grow from the lessons he has learned and be better that's the whole point of why we are here on earth every experience is a new learning opportunity for souls.

No, in fact if it weren't for ministries thru out the third world and South America, there would be much more suffering. These missions dedicate their lives to helping others in the name of God. People donate money to these missions to help others they will never encounter. They help because they believe God wants them to help. Without God, I believe the world would be far worse then it is today. With God, I believe we have a chance of turning things around. People with faith come from all backgrounds. I believe people with faith believe in a brighter future, not just for themselves, but for all. People without faith, just my opinion, are out for themselves and really have a pessimistic view on life in general.

Not yet. The Enlightenment helped stop the killing of the "infidels" (the rational people who couldn't make sense out of the nonsense the church was telling them and teaching). Now rational genes will again have a chance to procreate and spread.

Yes because Christians should have tried to enlighten them so their "religion" would not have them bound.
Christians are supposed to be the "light of the World." We need to do a better job, starting with me first.
