Dentist said I had "extra bone marrow" What does that mean??

On my xray he said it looks like a possible tumor area but doesnt think it is. Why do I have extra bone marrow and what does that mean??

Bone marrow is the inner of your bone, it's nothing to worry about. It's actually a benefit, since it makes blood cells...and white blood cells fight off infection and other body intruders.
