this question came out of nowhere to me yesterday...
Why do you think Jesus was sent to Israel out of all the places on earth? Why there? why in the middle east??
why not from a black (no offense) family? or an asian family?
Anyone have any theories?

why did you say (no offense) when you said "black"?

It is a Christian belief that Jesus existed and came from Israel. This is entirely irrelevant to Jews and to Judaism, and has no meaning whatsoever.

P.S. Fifi, even if the Jews in Europe WERE descended from the Khazars, they would still be full fledged Jews, as ANYONE who converts to Judaism is accepted as a full fledged Jew and has a part in the promises of Abraham and the land of Israel. It wouldn't matter if they were descended from Khazars or Martians, if they converted to Judaism, they are full fledged Jews with all the rights every Jew has always had.

Jesus was a Jew or should I say an ethnic Israelite...however, there are no more 100% ethnically Jewish people alive in the world today, they're either converted to Islam and Christianity, or the minority of them have remained in the Middle Eastern countries as Mizrahi Jews. The Jewish gene (known as the 'Cohen' gene) has been found in Africa (the Lemba tribe), the Middle East (among Arabs especially Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese), Europe and even in Iran! Infact the majority of the European Jews you see in Israel, are barely Semites, and biblically speaking, they are more Magog then they are Semitic, since they are descended from the Turkic Khazar tribe who have converted en masse to Judaism in 8-9th Century.

Israel is situated in a very strategic land bridge. It connects Europe, Asia and Africa and allowed for the most rapid transmit of the ideas. In comparison to the Empires in China, India and Africa, the Roman Empire was the most outstretched and the most able to get the information throughout it's borders and to export it out.

Jesus was sent to be born in the middle east so that Asians wont say that Christianity is a Western religion and refuse to believe in Jesus and westerners cant say that Christianity is a Eastern religion. It's in between,God had all these planned.smart eh?
Plus, God did made the promise to King David and Abraham.

Israel is not actually a place or country at that time. It refers to the people of Israel. That was the name of a certain man given by God who ruled over his men at tht time.

God chose Abraham for his faith, and promised that he would have a son through whom all the nations of the earth would be blessed.
That son was Isaac, who later became the father if Israel.
The choice was based on faith, not race or color, or even geographical location.

Only that God needed Jesus to be a Jew, and that's where the Jews were.

One could ask why God chose that particular place to put the Jews, but that's a whole circular argument that can never really be answered.

because in the bible it says that the son of god will be born to a strong tribe in Israel and when god knew it was time the jews were the strongest tribe in Israel during that time. i guess god just chose Israel.

God sent to Jesus to revive religion Judaism followed by Jews. The other reason is that Jews were very much ungrateful to Moses and gave him lots of hard times by being disobedient to God and their Prophet Moses even though God and Moses got them freedom from slavery. Also Jews had killed many of the prophets God sent for their guidance
before Jesus came.

According to words of Jesus in Bible, he said, I have not come to bring a new religion or new law. He said to his followers to go to the lost sheep of Jews only and no to go to gentiles.
Paul was opponent of Jesus during his preaching time. After Jesus was gone, then Paul took it upon himself and created a new religion in the name of Christ with dogma of Trinity which Jesus himself never talked about.

God sent the last Prophet Jesus to Jews only to test them what they will do to him. Off course they convincted him with false accusations and handed him over to Romans to be crucified. After that God cursed Jews for ever. Since that time, Romans did mass murder of Jews, destroyed their Temple and wrote prohibition for Jews to ever enter in Jeusalem. Jews spread all over on this planet known as their diaspora.
Later Spaniards killed lots of them and Hitler killed 6 million of them in Europe. They are under punishment of God since they convicted Messenger of God Jesus Christ to get him crucified. And they proudly announced that they had Jesus crucified in a very cruel and humiliated manner by Romans.
