They work to kill the bacteria - but with alchahol - which is why they have that minty fresh Buuuuurrrn.

Most antiseptic mouthwashes contain alcohol..there are a few that don't..but they are more pricy. The benefits of the alcohol is to kill the bacteria(germs from plague) in your mouth and between the teeth. Happy home care.

ALL MOUTHWASHES ARE ANTISEPTIC, IN OTHER WORDS THEY WILL ALL KILL BACTERIA.

IT'S A SHAME THE IGNORANCE OF CONSUMERS IS PREYED UPON WITH FALSE ADVERTISING AND GIMMICKS.

SOME MOUTHWASHES ARE MORE EFFECTIVE AT KILLING BACTERIA AND THEY HAVE A BETTER FLAVOR.
