She should get him a gift basket of nice smelling things for Christmas such as body wash and cologne. I wouldn't get him deodorant because then it's sending a definite message saying "Hey, you smell!" But if she were to get him body wash, cologne, and maybe another present that wasn't for his smell, it wouldn't be so obvious.

The best way is to tell him straight up, to take a bit more time with his personal cleanliness. Possibly buy him a basket of cool shower and bath stuff. Bar of soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo/Conditioner. Guys like that stuff too u know...But say the words to him....that is important. Tell him he would be much more attractive if he was taking better care of his personal hygiene.

Haha indirectly talk about a how some guys smell bad...buy him an Axe spray...or tell ur friend to tell him that she loooovs guys with Axe, nd guys that look fresh and stuff lol

Guys handle that stuff much better than girls. Just tell him. Some teenage boys don't have a clue about proper hygiene or fuss about it like girls do. Guys won't be all upset and have their feelings hurt. they get over it. Just don't make fun of him or drop hints in front of others...they do have ego's!! Let him know privately.

If your friend doesn't want to tell him directly then just tell her to buy him colon or south fragrance of some sort. You know, as a holiday girt.

if she doesn't want to flat out tell him, then have her drop hints such as buying him something such as Axe, or a body wash for Christmas.
