You can take it but you run the possibility of developing a "rebound" headache which can be worse than the actual migraine, which would make u want to take more of the oxy's, which can lead to addiction.

Hope you feel better soon!!!

It is if your doctor says so; and that's assuming you don't take too much or mix it with something dangerous. Some patients need heavy duty meds for migraines; others can do with less powerful drugs. But even an actual MD can't tell enough through the computer to determine whether it's right for you. In other words, ask your doctor.

In any event, good luck and hope you find a solution; migraines suck!

I would consult a Physician especially one who specializes in endocrinology because of the diabetes. If she is taking heavy doses of Oxycontin, it could be the drug itself causing rebound headaches. My daughter is plagued with very intense migraines, which usually go unresolved with prescribed medications and have resulted trips to the E.R. In the meantime, try to keep her in a dark and quiet environment and monitor her for vomiting , dehydration and hyperglycemia if you choose to stay home.

If your doctor prescribed it for you for your migraines, then yes. Try taking something that has caffeine like Excedrin migraine. But always consult your physician.
