Cheap Car?

Question

I am looking for a completely cheap car no more then 5,000 dollars. I do also want a reliable one that i wont be afraid of breaking down

Do you guys know of any online used car dealership online or maybe a cheap car you got and was also reliable

I am glad to see it is your parents car if it is them that want the new car I was quite pleasantly surprised that when I bought a Toyota Avensis I thought it would be more expensive to insure than a Peugeot 307sw but not so it was a lot cheaper. you need to look at the tax engine size to body weight & running costs too because bigger engine cars can be cheaper by not working at full stretch with better MPG and don't wear out so quickly as a small car pulling heavy loads around. Please drive carefully the insurance is high for your age group because you do have more accidents thus causing the insurance companies to pay out which of course they pass on.

$5,000 is actually not a bad budget. You can definitely find something reliable for that price. For instance, cars.com shows over 1,500 Honda Civics nationwide for that price or less, and as many Toyota Corollas. Rather than look for a "reliable online dealer," find out what local dealers have high ratings and see what they have -- most car purchases are local.

I say just check for auto-trader.com, and also I would say, Volkswagens are pretty reliable, but like all cars they always will need maintenance, and I have done some simple maintenance that are common to VW's like the cooling fans not working and just other stuff, wish you luck!
