I still eat it...beef tartare, beef carpaccio....delicious! Who needs fire? lol!

Definitely, and the human digestive system was actually different.
With the discovery and invention of cooking, cultures changed. they revolved around the fire and cooking and food and evolved along with it. The digestive system changed because digesting cooked meat is different than digesting raw meat. One of the main changes was that the intestinal tract got either longer or shorter (i don't remember if it used to be shorter and got longer or if it used to be longer and got shorter)

They may have dried it and eaten it that way, but if they hadn't discovered fire how else would they eat it, l was going to say they may have microwaved it, but someone beat me to that !! lol
