I used to spray the bottom of my rice cooker with oil, and that helped a little. But the DH came up with a foolproof method... cook the rice a little more than halfway done, then just turn the heat off and set a timer for the remaining minutes. We mostly eat brown rice (which takes a long time to cook), but have also done it with white rice.
Voila... no more sticking on the bottom, and the rice is still hot (don't lift the lid though till ready to serve).
We have a very inexpensive small rice cooker... don't know if the more expensive or roomier ones would have thicker bottoms or heat all the way around instead of just the bottom though.

I have had this problem too occasionally. What I do is to had a tbsp or two of butter (or margarine) to the rice while it's cooking. Also, make sure to give it a few quick stirs while it's cooking, and keep an eye on the time, because if the cooker runs out of water your rice may still stick to the bottom. Hope this helps and good luck...

Keep watching the progress of the rice. Add a spoon of vegetable oil to the rice and do not stir the rice at anytime during the cooking process.

Make sure there is enought water in there! If it dries up and burns it sticks. Other wise spray it with cooking oil

Do not know, but let's try to use a bit of oil or stir constantly. You may even try less water to make it a bit more flaky.
