I have a feeling you are confusing a tax return, which is the paperwork you have to submit to the Internal Revenue Service, with the tax refund, which is how much you might get back if your return shows that you overpaid. Anyone earning an income should file a return, and in your case it will probably help you because you are likely to get a refund of the taxes taken out of your checks, because your income would be low. when your old enough to have a legit job...as long as your paying taxes out of your check its being reported to the IRS .
