I'm wondering, what would you call them if you thought they were not real?

Well if they are not real then they would be called frauds or fakes.

IF they are Real then they are what ever the worshipers call them. For example Odin, Zeus, Buddah.

If they were not real according to the Christian belief there would be no reason for the Christian god to say worship no other god before me would he now? This states to me there are other gods he just knows the more people that give him their faith the stronger he is. If my gods like Hephistia's had more worshippers you would see the rise of Hellenistic Gods again to power and just as real in my opinion. It is our faith that allows them to be in our lives I say. Why would your Jesus not keep saying to embrace him and his father's ways then?

It is all the same in the end, Marketing to get the most followers among the gods in my view and Monotheism has dealt a very deadly blow to Polytheism but it has strengthened atheism on the other spectrum though.

I only hope one day we can all find out who is correct and who is not but we will probably all grow old or what ever future lies for us and never know until you do die and you cannot return to tell anyone the answer to that question!!

Maybe one day. Let us hope. It would resolve so many issues that cause people to get so angry and kill over the simple difference of belief. I feel sorry for those people that take it so personal where they are foaming with anger just because you do not follow their beliefs. That is sad their anger has such control of them, that is not a sign of a good Christian though now is it, most good Christians know this and mostly just fundies and kids do it. The same stands for any faith or belief or lack of one.

WE ALL have our extremist do we not?

So real or not is up to you to decide what you believe in the end. That is the fact.

When I was a pagan, I knew they were real in spirit. Now that I am a Christian I can see much better now and know that the pagan gods are Satans disciples. Satan loves to share his dirty work. There is only one True God. I am so glad I know that now. I found the truth in the bible when I asked the higher beings to show me the truth. I had an open mind and heart and finally heard God.

No. However Satan has an organised system of deception in place, with principalities I think, being high-level angels, charged by Satan with deceiving people into various false religions and philosophies. So in India for instance you do get some very occultic supernatural stuff in association with the worship of various deities, and it has a characteristic nature, so the believers are deceived into thinking the idol is answering them. Its even possible to have encounters with angelic beings, and be translated into the 2nd heavens, and it all be Satan, but that is pretty rare. Demons also suggest thoughts into people's minds - mohammedans for instance would probably hear a 'dont read the Bible it is corrupt' if they got curious on a point where the Koran fell short. Did you know Druids used to use some supernatural powers ?

I can't see how Christians can think they are not real since the Bible contains many examples of YHVH stating that he/she is a jealous God and does not want anyone having other Gods before him. Even the book of Genesis states "Let's make man in OUR image", et al.

Some are just made up ,mostly the nature Gods. Some are Demonic that the ancients placated with worship. An idol or false god only has what power you give it ,like Voodoo. When the fallen angels mated with the daughters of men ,there were a lot of creepy ,monsterous "gods" and "demi-gods" truly roaming the earth.(Gen.6)

In regard to pagan gods, there are too many to keep track of. Thus the association of idol worship for many.

I am a Christian. I am a monotheist. I don't believe in other Gods. Are there other forces in the universe..there could be.

I'd love to answer this, but the Christian god essentially is a ripoff of the pagan gods. Kind of a pointless question. You're going to hurt the poor fools by making them think. Jesus hated thinking.

There are no other gods other than Thee God of Jacob, Isaac and Abraham. Because there was only one creator and He did not make any others.
