I'm looking forward to being with my family and celebrating my son's birthday. Beyond that, I dunno. I like watching my girls open their presents. That's always fun.

I am an agnostic and have been for quite awhile. I look forward to Christmas because of the togetherness of a family and being able to share your love and thanks with them. I know religion is the creation of Christmas. Do I believe in the stories and such? Not necessarily. I can still love and enjoy Christmas just as much as the next person, though.

Oh yes!! Just like we did for thousands of years before the supposed birth of Christ - only then we called it Saturnalia or even the Feast of the Goddess Isis - these were about celebrating the winter solstice with family and friends, feasting and exchanging gifts. But then along came the Christians and stole the celebration to celebrate the birth of a baby that their own records prove must have been born in September!!

Funny old world isn't it!! Especially when Christians get all smug and ask the atheists "So what exactly are you celebrating!!"

Now you know!!

Why not? Christmas has nothing to do with Christ. It is a pagan holiday. Christ was born between mid August and late September. After September there would have been no sheep in the fields. The Catholic Church took the holiday to win over pagans...saying "we are the same as you, even to having the same holidays. Why not join us?" In reality, alleged atheists have at least one god they worship... themself. Most also worship: money, power, sex, fun, etc, and so have many gods. Atheists, therefore, are just another variety of pagan. Why shouldn't pagans look forward to a pagan holiday?

Christmas is a boring time of year, and there's too many shows on with that little baby and stuff about god and those dumb Christmas songs about stuff. But I do look forward to the weeks off, and the fact that New Years comes after it. Gotta love New Years.

Yes! I'm one of those that has issues with SAD, so I am way into anything that celebrates the return of the sun. Of course, I love winter. It's icing outside and I'm loving it. Aside from the fact that one of my trees is going to break and the power lines are falling down and people are wrecking which is very bad.

Hah.. atheists don't have anything to look forward to.. except what time they have in life.. They can do what they want..but in the end, I will bet most of them will take out a bible and start looking for loopholes.. maybe they can find one by saying.. Hey I celebrated Christmas didn't I?

Do people who don't believe in Santa look forward to Christmas? you can be culturally Christian and not be at all religious. The bible's an allegory anyway and the meaning of Christmas is secular: be close to your family and get stuff from them. I look forward to that and God is poohbear

December 25th itself is the original date of a Roman Pagan celebration, which later on they adapted as the "supposed" birthdate of Jesus Christ, para masaya. So I wouldn't be surprised if atheists look forward to Christmas, since, they are it's original celebrators. Di ba?

Sure, I'm looking forward to Christmas..........being over.
Christmas is a season of the enjoyment of the worst things in western culture. Consumerism, Commercialism, Excess, and Waste among many other things.

Personally I despise it.

Of course atheists look forward to Christmas. In fact most people don't even realize that Christmas is a religious holiday.
