I've read a few versions cover to cover, but didn't come across the word 'arkansas'. You may wish to look for yourself - you'll need an 'exhaustive concordance' - that's an index of almost all the words in the Bible, and the verses they occur in. The other option is to read the whole Bible for your self, or get a software version and run a search.
It may be a play on words: "Ark, and saw ..." or something like that, or it may be written properly on a copyright page or page listing translators and their addresses.

Those who wrote the Bible had no idea that a land that one day would be called Arkansas existed. Biblical people believed that the earth was flat and consisted of a 500 mile radius. That's why they believed that Noah was able to gather 2 of every living thing in the world.

When the Bible was written, they didn't even know that the Americas existed. Chistopher Columbus and the rest of Europe thought by sailing to the west he could reach China and India. That is why we call Native Americans Indians. Besides, Arkansas was not made the official name till 1881

uhhhhh Arkansas was not on the map back when the bible was written
In revelation they do talk about A nation Babylon to be which could be the u.s. mysteriously but God only knows... It seems to me the us is the whore that drinks from the cup which is mystery bab. look around lol

hmmm.....ya know i really doubt it cuz the bible was written THOUSANDS of years ago and Arkansas didn't even become a state until 1836. U must be confuding it with Noah's ARK. ya only the first three letters.
