SIXAXIS controller is a regular PS3 controller. Dualshock 3 is coming to Europe, Australia and US in the beginning of 2008. It's already on sale in Japan in white and black. I saw them on ebay for 50 - 60$. 3rd parties are making controllers for PS3 too. Logitech has a funny controller (Chillstream) with a built-in fan for your palms.

Right now there is only the PS3 sixaxis controllers, but in Spring 2008, there will be a new PS3 controller that will have rumble and Sixaxis controls. So basically the new controllers coming next year will have vibration and the controllers that are out now don't vibrate.

The Sixaxis is the regular PS3 controller.
The Sixaxis controller is bluetooth wireless, charges through the PS3 or a PC, and has motion sensing capabilities, though does not have rumble.

In early 2008 the DualShock 3 is being released in America (it was just released in Japan.) The DualShock 3 has motion sensing capabilities but also has rumble.

A Dualshock 3 controller has the two action sensing applications besides as a sophisticated style of vibration (as an occasion, in case you get shot interior the left area of your physique in-pastime. the left area of the controller vibrates.) No.
