I am a 23 year old female (24 on the 31). I met a guy at work a couple of months ago and he is only 17. He graduated back when he was 16. I took a liking to him immediately. We are really good friends and recently he told me he has feelings for me. I admit I to do, but he is only 17. I would easily dismiss him right away, but he is different than any other guy I have known. I know that I do have feelings for him and if he was in his 20's I would have took to him immediately. I have been holding back though, since he is so young. Should I just stay friends with him? or should I throw age out and give him a chance? Please be honest! I am not desperate or anything either if that is what you're thinking lol.

hello, have u ever heard of the expression "JAIL BATE?" if i had a son 17 & found out that u were taking a liking to him i would call the police on you. sorry my dear, but i would wait till he turns 21 before u decide to do anything with him. a male in most states is not legal age till he turns 21. so watch your step & i'm being nice about this for you. somebody else wouldn't be. u asked for an honest answer & that's what i'm giving u. so stop the friendship now while u can & if it's meant to be then when he's 21 u can go for it. but i doubt if when he is 21 u will still be interested in him. u r 6 yrs. older then him right now. so in 4 yrs. he will be legal for you. but by the time u turn 27 i don't think he will be around anymore. he will have a girlfriend closer to his age. u r just an older woman & a really expierenced "NOTCH" in his belt. also he will brag about having sex with an older woman so watch your self. bb, nobrethequeen

Age is a number. If he makes you feel comfortable even though nothing has happened go for it and see how it goes don't get into the relationship thing until you have socialized with him. You will find that there are certain things you can do that he cant!!! Then you will start thinking about your relationship if you do. The law does not allow him to drink alcohol legally yet so if you want to go out there are limited places you can go. If you go to the movies and it s a certificate 18 again limited places ou can go....... I know i've been in the situation there were 10 yrs between me and my ex.... I was the older one!!! Fancy a chat email me

well, he obviously has a certain something. and he did graduate early which says something, too. if you 2 have a chemistry it could be worth exploring, but you'd need to be careful.
a friend of mine started seeing a guy when she was 22 or 23 & he was 17. the relationship lasted 5 years and it was pretty good while it lasted.

Whatever you do....don't lead him on...When I was 17 I had a crush on a 20 year old girl she always gave me signals that she liked me. She would grab my arm, point in my direction always, put her hand on her chin when she would talk to me and look deep into my eyes, laugh at all my jokes, pose in obviously sexy positions right in front of me, say things like "You" whenever I asked "What are you thinking about?", and a whole bunch of other ****. Than on a trip to Mexico with all the friends she met a guy and started dating him, after though whenever we were at social gatherings together, whenever they were in front of me she would ignore him completely as if she were trying to spare my feelings. I still like her even now and she broke up with that guy recently. I still can't figure out if she's in love with me or just teasing the hell out of me like an evil ***** just playing with my emotions....Anyways if you like him who cares about age there couples out there with 10 years apart from each other...I would just suggest waiting till he turns 18.....

If you guys are truly meant for each other then he'll understand. Tell him that when he's in his 20's, you'll be ready to take the next step into a relationship. But just for now stay friends. He should understand.

Wait until he is 18 at least or else it's illegal. i have no problem with it if it is only that small difference (and trust me, comparatively it is small). i don't know you so i can't judge either of you or if you are good together or should be together but i say, if no-one has objections to it and you both feel the same about each other then go for it.

He is still young and MAY be ready but in the long run he won't.. He is still young and is still experiencing the teen life.. I'd give him a couple years to mature up so just keep him as a friend..

if you guys start dating now and end up in a serious sexual relationship, you can get arrested for rape. the best thing you can do is be friends with him untill he is 18, 18 and 24 is not that much of a diference.
