Spaying may or may not help since the habit is ingrained but it will prevent her from actually going into heat and having puppies. What she is doing is either (most likely) trying to get attention or trying to show she is of higher rank then you are. Both are training issues. The easiest way to stop this is to train her to sit and give her this command if she tries her little act then reward her (praise, treat, toy, play, whatever) when she does it. There are two camps on whether or not she should be corrected before saying sit. I tend to say "no!", gently push the dog off, then say "good girl" until the sit is learned well.

There isn't anything you can do to get her out of heat now. A vet will not want to spay your dog while in heat, due to that area being engorged with blood. But as soon as she comes out of heat, spay her - for all those dogs out there without homes and for both of your sanity.
You may have to train/retrain her not to spray the house and hump your leg, but sometimes they just don't stop the spraying. You may be able to get her to stop humping easier than getting your dog to stop spraying.

You could get your dog spayed yet the reason the dog does this is ownership not heat and is common is small dogs what I did for my dog was I had to train him not to respond in that manner and it takes a lot of hard work since my dog humped everything that he found.

getting her spayed will not diffuse humping. kinda like a kid who learns to masturbate, they don't forget. try exercise. walking her and such. i had a lhasa who constantly humped the cat. we had her spayed, she had a tumor in her ovaries that was making her feel like she was in heat all the time. the spaying curbed the behavior, but didn't completely stop it. but i seen Caesar (the dog whisperer) fix such cases with exercise. this was many years after my lhasa apso passed away though. good luck, and do spay your dog anyways, it is better on them health wise, and since she isn't a purebreed, there isn't any sense risking the health consequence of a pregnancy, and extra pups in the world.

You can't just stop a biological urge. The best thing to do is spay her. She should stop humping your leg. She should stop spraying, if she is spraying. And spaying her can have health benefits like lowered risk of cancer. And there will be no risk of more unwanted puppies on the planet.

I would defiantly recommend spaying her as it has many health benefits. Other than that there is not way to take her out of heat with out drugs that can have harmful side effects. If she is only mounting while in heat that it the problem but if she doing it in general then in is dominance behavior and the only way to correct it is to ensure she knows that you are the one in charge.

When she humps you it is a show dominance over you. She is making sure you know that she is alpha dog. Training to show her that you are the pack leader will stop that. I have a female dog and she does that to other dogs and she is fixed but she also did it when she wasn't.

Getting her spay is the BEST solution. Get it done ASAP. If not she is going to go into real heat soon and you get to deal with her getting that bloody mess all over you when she humps you.
