Hi there..each air carrier has their own set of restrictions for pet travel. Please contact the airlines far in advance in order to learn what are their policies. Fees and requirements will vary from each airline.

Most will require a health certificate signed by a veteriarian and show proof that the cat is up to date on vaccinations, etc. Domestic flights are different than international flights.

Furthermore, if the airline will not allow in-cabin travel cargo travel is generally restricted during hot and cold seasons.

CALL the airline, most need a vet certificate that the cat is healthy. Most need special travel kennels for the cat. Some allow carry on, most require they're put in the hold and that the carrier be crush proof.

You need to get this sorted out WEEKS before you travel, or you'll need to leave the cat at home.
