Only when mobilized. Even during drill weekends and two week (or even longer) active duty assignments, a reservist is still considered on reserve duty.
Once a reservist is mobilized, they transfer from their reserve center command to an active duty command. While on AT (the two week active duty period) a reservist still still under the reserve center command.
