Do you prefer your Boyfriend Or Girlfriend To Say:

"i luv u"
or
"i love you"

The "i luv u" one irritates me, cos it makes it seem like
they don't mean it. =/

what do you think?

If I was reading the written word, I would prefer "I love you" for exactly the reasons you stated...it seems deliberate and sincere. If I heard the phrase uttered, though, I'm not sure I would be able to tell the difference. (But I definitely don't like "love ya")

I agree. I have always used the "i luv you" for friends and "i love you" for my boyfriend...
