Wow I never seen so many bad answers in my life... surely someone taught the parents before them and before them and so on... are you all that blind really?

God taught them. But they turned away from the truth and you are right they don't care.

Most people are taught to read first at home by their parents. I'm sure doctors are no exception. The knowledge they or anyone else may obtain is at the expense of the persons time and energy in an endeavor to further their education through study, reading, listening, and working with others who hold the same goal.
Currently, there are no doctors using the knowledge they have against me. If I become ill or injured I imagine a doctor will use their knowledge to heal me.
Most anyone has the ability to study and educate themselves. Give it a try. You may enjoy it.

Good question, Green Lantern! Some of the doctors I have met don't seem to know how to read; or listen. There knowledge seems to be stuck at medical school; they don't seem to be able to learn any thing at all from patients. And, I would say they are abusing many patients; look at the mistakes they make and the hundreds of thousands of people that die every year just in the U.S. due to their errors and neglect.

my parents taught my sister how to read. she got basic knowledge from my parents. the rest was taught in school (reading all the way up to know how each medication works for the human body).
