I use all of those except the french fired onions, and also add a few strips of crumbled bacon, diced onions and cream of chicken soup. Very tasty! :) 1 bag of hashed browns 1 can cream of mushroom 1 can cream of chicken 1 large diced onion 2 bags of cheddar cheese (i love cheese) 1 small container of sour cream enough butter to sweat the onions, not brown 2-3 strips of cooked bacon, a bit on the crispy side, crumble them Mix all together leaving 1/2 a bag of cheese, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 about a half hour.
