I have a Canon Powershot A95 and was wondering if there is some way I can set it so it will take multiple quick shots just by pressing the button once. Thanks.

I guess it's called "continuous shooting." How do I set my camera for that?

Don't you have a user manual? If you do, then you should simply look up "Continuous Shooting" in the Index.

But, all you need to do is press the FUNC button and scroll down till you get to Drive Mode.
You can select from Continuous or High Speed Continuous.
You cannot select these modes while in AUTO...so you should select P or another mode instead.

Turning off the LCD and using the viewfinder to compose your shots is a good idea while using these modes (especially, high speed) as having the LCD on, will slow the camera down.

Of the three training of digital cameras, the shopper type advertising for in uncomplicated terms $3 hundred all have a shutter lag undertaking for reasons that I"m no longer at risk of bypass into best right here. The 0.33 or expert type costing over $one thousand is a lot out of the question. the 2d type is the pro-sumer SLR type that fee $one thousand or much less, in lots of circumstances circumstances for $500 or much less with mail in rebates. The SLR digital cameras use a mirror viewing device in basic terms like their action picture counterparts and therefor enable speedy fire multi-physique taking pictures. there's a professional-sumer sub type DSLR digicam variety that makes use of a television like viewing device (like the older VCR cameras) and that they too have an inherent shutter lag so which you do no longer desire that. stay a techniques flung from the huge priced manufacturers like Cannon or Nikon and notice what the present industry is for manufacturers like Konika, Pentax or Olympus as an social amassing. around this time of 365 days they pop out with new fashions in June and so which you would be waiting to discover a decreased sale (with a rebate) on the older fashions. additionally attempt the huge "O" as they actually in lots of circumstances have an over-inventory deal for as much as 40 5 to 50% off the industry expenses. As an X-commercial now semi-retired photographer i provided a Pentax device over a 365 days interior the previous for in basic terms $700 and function pondering extra all sorts of candies to it and that i will place it (and my paintings) up against a Cannon or Nikon any day of the week.

There should be a setting on there for sports and that is what Canon usually uses for burst photos.

Also, check the Canon web site.

I have an A85, and the only way I know of to have it take mutiple shots is to dial it to video and shoot video - then you can edit stills out of that.

I don't know of any way to make it take mutiple stills on one shutter push.
