why do we have to answer to him? im just another guy living in the universe he created. i didnt ask him to be alive(at least not that i can remember). so i dont think its fair that he gets to make us then throw us onto earth and if we make any mistakes we go to hell forever. its not fair. thats why i think he should answer a few of my questions when i die.

EDIT -- I accept your assessment and admit that I deserve it. Being "*****y" or belittling others isn't my usual style (please read some of my other posts if you don't believe me). My sincere apologies for taking my frustrating day out on you. I do stand behind my perspective, but the way I said it left a LOT to be desired and had a lot more to do with my day than with your message. I felt bad about it within seconds of posting it and would have deleted it if you hadn't commented. Since you did, I'll leave the original message intact so your comments make sense and to help me remember to think before I write!
Please forgive me for being so *****y to you...my only excuse is that your "I don't think it's fair" comment hit a hot button for me today...I spent most of the day hearing it from students that missed a deadline last night or otherwise hurt their grade by not listening to my instructions and then tried to blame me for their "not graduating" or "messed up GPA". After struggling all day to respond neutrally to their accusations I "snapped" when I had the opportunity to say what I was really thinking as I composed all those replies to them!
If your email was open I would have apologized in private too, since it isn't, I can only hope you'll see my edit and realize that I do regret what I said to you!

Ah, nothing like the mournful whine of an immature human. You probably still think that your parents owe you something too, huh? Thankfully, as people mature, they usually come to realize that they owe their parents everything!
If God created you, then you answer to him...and this is entirely "fair". Everyone is in the same boat and all are judged by the exact same standards...this is fair. He also makes his standards very clear and even offers to help you achieve them...again, very fair. You sound like my students that choose not to read the instructions, don't do what I tell them to do, and then complain that it "isn't fair" that they failed the assignment or the class.
Grow up sweetie...if God created you then you owe him for everything you are...your talents, abilities, resources...your life. Without him, you wouldn't even exist to ask this question. Don't like it...so what...you didn't create him to do something for you, he created you to do something for him. Do it or accept that you're useless in his long-term plans.
