I have a metal enamel pasta pot and want to use it to deep fry a turkey breast, outside of course.
It's big enough but will it take the 350 degree F oil or will it destroy the pot

I would get a bigger pot. Enamel may also crack or become damaged at that heat (400 degrees is the limit for le crueset type pots, other enamel pots may be even less). Go with heavy guage stainless steel or cast iron.

Enamel is a Paint. I would not fry anything in that.

It should take that heat alright. A cast iron one would be preferable.
