Yes, there is a sticker on the bottom with a year and a month.

There should be a manufacturer date on the bottom of the PS3. It will tell you when it was built and where it was built. Mine says February 2007 - China.

Check near the ID or Cereal Number on the back of the PS3.

there is a manufacture sticker on the bottom of the ps3 if you lay it down it should say a month and the year for example- JAN 2007
