I just believe there is only one God, no matter what religion you are. =)

I wouldn't laugh. A person's religion is a serious and personal thing. I don't like it when people make up ridiculous religions like the Flying Spaghetti Monster in a childish attempt to poke fun of religion beliefs in general. It's a stale joke that is completely worn out. They've been doing that kind of joke for decades without effect.
However, if you truly believe in Quetzecoatl or another god, it shoudn't be laughed at.

I wouldn't! But then again, I give honor to Odin, Thor, Freyr and Freya.
The followers of Christianity/Islam are taught in their religion that their god is the only correct one and all other religions are to be condemned. They can't question their own religion because they might have to question why other religions aren't valid and equal.

even if that religion was not real you can still make it up. In some parts of Africa every family makes up their own religion

Who's laughing at you? Not me, everyone is entitled to believe in whatever they feel comfortable with.
I personally believe that Christianity is the true religion, but I would never call another persons beliefs false.

Because I have found that most people in those religions are dead-set on what they believe and they are usually pretty self centered and narrow minded.

As a Christian I would disagree with you, but would never laugh at you. To do so would be both uncalled for and unkind. We each have a right to our own beliefs.

You should read "Gifts of the Jews". Really a good story of why the God of Abraham is the true God. You do read new ideas, don't you?

If it makes you feel any better, I treat all these claims the same. Same as I treat claims of people who've seen leprechauns and the like.
