Killing is always the most efficient way for someone to forgive another.

It was the only way.
Christ prayed in the Garden the night of His arrest, that if this cup could pass from Him, let it. But if not, then God's will be done.
We all see there was no other way, and Christ was submissive to the will of His and our Father, to the death.
It is written that without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission for sin.
Christ was the perfect, sinless sacrifice for our sins. He lives forever making intercession for us.

. It is and was the greatest gift to the world . They used animals to sacrifice for sin offerings and more and even had a scape goat But what animals blood could wash any sinner clean and wipe away their sin . So Christ became the last and finale sacrifice needed, His blood was sinless and spotless and those who belive are cleansed by his blood
No greater love has any one than to lay his life down for another, and thats what Christ did

Very strange. I wonder what Mrs God said when God went out to sacrifice his son to support his religion.

Apparently, an allegedly omnipotent god couldn't think of a less bloody way to save people from himself. The whole Jesus story is sick, IMO.

Very!!! it's so damn illogical that it's halerious that people would actually take heed to such nonsense and reduce God to a mortal MAN! it's sickening!

(God forgive them! Amen.)

No. Not at all if you could understand. Imagine telling people in the 3rd century that they could watch other people run around in a box via something that looked like a dragon fly hovering around the world.

Since God is perfect and makes no mistakes, yes, I think it was the most awesome gift He could have given us.
