Qur'an 9:5, known as "the verse of the sword," declares, "Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem."
Sura 7:136, 7:59 say Noah's flood took place in Moses' day. Did anyone tell Moses that?
Sura 14:37, says Abraham lived in the valley of Mecca. The Bible says he lived in Hebron, Israel. (Genesis 13:18, 23:2, 35:27)
Sura 7:54, 10:3, 11:7, and 25:59 clearly state that God created "the heavens and the earth" in six days. But in 41:9-12 the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days.
How many more would you like?

When reading this answer, ask youself if you have taken a good study of the Bible.

The cloudiness of their holy writings that can be used many millions to wage physical Jihad, killing many innocent people in the name of Islam and also used by others who say it teaches peace. Plus they claim it can only be rightly understood in its original language which means everyone is subject to their local teachers interpretation ultimately. Lastly I find that too many situations like the women who was raped in Saudi Arabia and then sentence to 200 lashes and years in jail just for being in a car with a man not related to her is a bad enough example but what is worse is there is no huge outcry from Islamic groups here, or even women's rights groups as if everyone thinks this type of treatment is acceptable.

In Islam I've seen a lot of requirements about when to pray, how to pray, things you must accomplish in your life (which are the same for every single person... pilgrimage, etc...) but I don't find the assurance of salvation that exists in Christianity. I also have more the feeling that Islam portrays God as a being whose will we can never know, so maybe we please him, maybe not, but there's nothing we can really do to make sure we're doing ok.

One of my chief problems with Islam is the insistance on praying and reading the Koran in Arabic. If God knows every detail, everything in our hearts, WHY in the world does he need anyone to pray in a specific language. I understand muslims say it keeps the Koran unaltered, but this is the word of God we're talking about, he can speak to men through any means necessary. Besides, what value does it have to God if I learn to pray in a language I don't understand, when I could pray to him a meaningful prayer from my heart that both he and I could understand?

There are also a lot of smaller issues I disagree with in Islam, such as that originally it was ok for Muslims to drink, then only with restriction, and then not at all. If it's God's will not to drink, why wouldn't he just say so and spare people all the confusion. And then there's the issue of Mohammed saying we should respect the teachings of the Torah and Bible, and then saying disregard, they are corrupted books (without ever mentioning which parts are corrupted, or when or by whom, and whether or not this means we no longer have to repsect them.)

Finally, the Islamic portrayal of God just does not match what I know about God. I think I've read in Islam that God may mislead people, in Christianity he is there to show people the truth, always. Also in Islam I don't get the idea that God really loves and cares about people, more that people are there just to serve him, and if they get lucky he will be happy with them. I've spent quite a bit of time reading about Islam, and also have some very close friends who are muslims, and so far I haven't seen anything that is appealing to me in it.

The way they treat women as property and act like they hate the rest of the world and we will be destroyed. it might sound a bit far-fetched, but I saw an Islamic 'rights' parade/march in England where they held signs telling the rest of the world the "You will die for not choosing Muhammad" and "Europe - Your 9-11 is coming" . Kinda suggests they might not be too friendly, huh?

Calling it the "religion of peace" while the Sunnis and Shi-ites are still fighting each other.

subversion and de-Messiahing Christ,
hypocrisy (do not speak of one you have not met - Mohammed did this when he wrote of Jesus),
Pedophilia being accepted in the Qur'an,
How women are referred to as opposed to men,
and MANY MANY MORE.

Absolutly nothing. You must remember one crucial concept of Islam, that it's NOT a religion, it's a way of life.

Absolutely nothing. It's not my cup of tea but they can create their own dogma or ideology as they see fit.
