I am almost 30 and have not yet officially started to date. I have gone on a total of two dates in my entire life. They took place when I was 23 and at the time I felt it was way too early to get into that stuff. What is weird now is that I have become so involved in my career and working on a masters degree that I totally forgot about the "finding love" aspect of life. Seriously, I had an awakening of a sort and said to myself, "Oh yeah, I forgot about maybe someday getting a girlfriend and experiencing my first kiss." I have been told it will be difficult to get into the game so late and even harder because I still live at home by choice. LOL, should I even bother to seek a relationship or should I just pursue more important things like a career etc.?

Unless you're taking care of your parents, you may want to move out. Other than that, it could be fun. Get some friends to help you out, teach you the basics, but it's totally possible to start dating at 30 and come out fine.

However, don't feel pressured to date simply because everyone else does. If you're happy with your life and feel like you will be into the foreseeable future you could be fine living the life of a bachelor. Not everyone is made for dating, some people really love being single. It's up to you.

Studies show that if a person is not married by 25, they will never get married. I am sorry, but your ship has sailed. Just try to accept life alone. It's not that bad.
