Like you wouldn't believe. There are times I wish I could reach through the screen and just slap some sense into of these people.

There is no way to do this quickly and safely. Your body was not designed for it. We're still the same we were 100,000 years ago and our bodies don't care if there's a 24 hour grocery store down the street. No, if there's no food coming in it starts to panic and bad things start to happen.

I've had people I know ask me to help them with their weight loss. They come on strong and are so willing to do what needs to be done and we hit the gym at 6am for a great workout and the next week they're already starting with the excuses why they can't make it tomorrow. And the excuses keep coming and it winds up the same way. They sit there and whine about how fat they are and how hard it is to see any results then they blame it on genetics and eat a pint of ice-cream.

I was fat. I changed my life and my health by exercising and eating properly. It took more than a year to get all the weight off including the plateaus and reversals that happened along the way. I've managed to keep it off during that time by continuing to go to the gym and maintaining my lifting routine. I can also indulge my sweet tooth when I feel like it and don't feel guilty about eating half a pizza, a large hot fudge sundae or any other kind of food. So what if I gain a pound or so, I'll just work it off.

So yes, these people looking for a "get thin quick" scheme do p!$$ me off. They need to do the work but they're too farking lazy to.

Not only does it bug me... more importantly it bothers me that people seem to think that quick fixes work. Plastic Sweatsuits, 48 hour diuretic drinks and liquid diets... are not safe and the results don't last.

Americans want everything yesterday but aren't willing to do the hard work to get the results that last.

A lot of people aren't educated in diet and fitness. Many of those who ask questions like that are pretty young to begin with.

Don't let them have That much of your energy.

I laugh at those people. I find them so very entertaining. Like, there's about 3 people on planet earth who actually care about whether you're fat or not. GET A LIFE.

It's "dozers" like you Warrior Mama that infuse others with this mass-misconception of that people with mental health issues are....how you say?..... Oh yeah, "dozers".

Shame on you.

I'll tell you what bugs me Warrior Mama. "Dozers" with too much time on their hands like you that stare at their monitor, with fingertips on keys, bitching about other people (Oh my, I just did the same!).

Get a different life Warrior Mama, preferably a mentally ill one and see how it tastes. Then you might ask a more sensible question.
