No one really knows. Should anyone really care? I should say not!

Since it is the Catholic Church that founded and created the religion of Christianity, they are the original, authentic, true Christianity.

Those who invent and create something originally are the authentic ones.

Those who come along later, split off from that and change it are not following the original, authentic creation.
Therefore these are not authentic Christians.

That's the way it works. For instance, take Tiffany jewelry. It was invented by and created by Louis Comfort Tiffany long ago. This is the original, the only authentic Tiffany.
Later, others who had worked for Louis Tiffany decided to branch out on their own and create their own knock-off versions of the original Louis Tiffany designs. Obviously, good as they were, these designs were not the original, nor the authentic, and cannot be called true Tiffany designs.

It is like this with everything, including the Catholics and the Protestants. The original is the authentic, the later split off versions are knock-offs and not the authentic, and changed as well from what the original is.

Catholics are spiritually born again (and again and again) through:
+ Belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior
+ Living the Gospel to the best of our ability
+ Daily rededicating ourselves to Jesus Christ
+ Receiving new life in Baptism
+ The forgiveness of sins through the Sacrament of Reconciliation
+ The infusion of the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands in Confirmation
+ Taking the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ into our bodies through the Eucharist (Holy Communion)
+ Even during the penitential season of Lent

These are a few ways that Catholics are spiritually born again. We usually just don't use those words.

With love in Christ.

I can see that you are a fundamentalist.

Fundamentalism is defined as “the practice of asserting the absolute truth of your own beliefs and practices to the deliberate exclusion of the possibility of truth in the beliefs and practices of others.” It is nothing but bigotry.

Fundamentalists have this "holier than thou" attitude, which gets in your nerves. They always presume to know more about your religion than you do. Fundamentalists talk as if no case could be made for the Catholic faith.

I would be the first to leave the Catholic Church if what you say is true.

To my fundamentalist brothers & sisters: Jesus said, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. – Matthew 7, 1-2 (KJV)

We've already come to Jesus. That's what the Catholic Mass is all about. That's what the whole Catholic religion is all about.

Maybe you should try to read the Catholic Catechism so you won't be so confused about what Catholics really believe. Or read the book, "What Catholics REALLY Believe" or even "Catholicism for Dummies."

yOU PUT IT VERY NICE FOR THE CATOLICS BUT I WISH YOU KNEW THE REAL Entities THAT WORK BEHIND THIS (or maybe you know and you are just playing dumb)

Catolic is not the original religion the original is Gods creator of heaven and earth

Jesus called Peter PETRA (little stone) and then refers at Himself as THE ROCK and over the ROCK is where remains the BASE of His religion .

so dont start with the story that Jesus gave power to Peter to be the head of the church because you guys are changing the word of God and thats a Blasfemy (one in a million that you guys have)

I am catholic and do not understand what you are asking. We believe in Jesus, and we are Christians just like any other Christian, but we just do things a tad bit differently than protestants. You probably misunderstand our religion.

And who gave you the divine authority to judge that they haven't? Or are you judging everyone based on your own narrow point of view? "Judge not lest ye be judged", indeed.

when certian evangelicals like you i suppose stop acting like religion is a turf war, and when they stop pretending god cares how you worship him, as long as you worship him. god does not think your way of worshipping him is superior to anyone else's. and if you believe your particular narrowly defined way of worshipping him is somehow superior, this does not bring you closer to god, this vanity makes you further from god
