I have a 1999 2x4 Jeep Cherokee, automatic transmission, 94k miles.

When I first get in my jeep and start driving it, the transmission struggles getting from 1st gear to 2nd. This usually only happens when I FIRST START driving my jeep, but after it's been driving for a while it shifts smoothly.

The problem seems to be getting worse...as it's been going on for almost 3 months now.
my brother thinks it is the TPS sensor. trans fluid has been checked and is fine.

what could be wrong with my jeep???

are you letting the oil pressure build up before your taking off? maybe you should leave it running for 5 minutes before you take off

Sounds like a bad seal in the transmission, causing the transmission fluid to either drain into the transfer case, or the torque converter is draining down either way, continued driving with that condition will destroy the transmission.

With 1st kit, you reported you looked as though it would have figured it out. So i won't be in a position to have any exact training for this kit. be conscious**: All decrease gears have countless torque, and you may desire to be extra precise the decrease you bypass in kit. For moving up and down, its notably elementary, grasp in, shift up/down, grasp out. RPMs are a element. you constantly prefer to maintain the motor vehicle, exceptionally for 2nd and third, interior the mid-variety powerband. for sure once you shift upwards, the motor vehicle is going to drop RPMs, so which you prefer to some distance adequate right into a undeniable kit earlier you shift out of it. Your grasp launch might desire to take approximately .5 seconds of time for each way (down and returned). this might desire to be adjusted, seeing how each autos grasp is diverse. you will have in elementary terms a splash of jerk, till you artwork out precisely what im speaking approximately. when you artwork out the thank you to make the sumptuous variations, shifts might desire to be mushy as BUTTER. sturdy success
